About
One engineer, on-site, from quote to handover

VRC Electrical & Automation is run by Vivek Chauhan, an electrical & automation engineer based in Chandivali, Andheri East. The practice grew out of straightforward house-wiring and panel work into a broader scope that now includes PLC and VFD automation panels, Building Management System (BMS) support, and the interior-lighting side of a home fit-out — false ceilings, TV unit backlighting, mandir lighting, and touch-sensor controls.
The reasoning for keeping it hands-on rather than growing into a large, layered company is simple: on most residential and small-commercial jobs, having one person understand the wiring, the panel, and the finished lighting design avoids the usual problem of three different contractors each assuming someone else checked the details.
That same approach carries over to larger automation work — the panel wiring and BMS monitoring support shown in the gallery follows the same standard: components rated correctly for the load, wiring labelled so someone else could service it later, and everything tested before it’s called finished.
VRC works directly with homeowners, and alongside interior designers, carpenters and main contractors when the electrical work is part of a larger fit-out.
How VRC approaches a job
Plan before wiring
Load calculation and layout are worked out before a wall or ceiling is opened up — not adjusted after the fact.
Built to be serviced later
Panels are labelled and wiring is kept tidy, so a future electrician (or VRC, years later) can actually understand the circuit.
Tested, not assumed
Every circuit, panel and fixture is checked under load before a job is considered complete.
